Veterinary Treatment FacilityPet News:The German law has changed recently to allow for three-year rabies vaccinations. The veterinary clinic provides surgeries (spays, neuters, and other surgeries), dental cleanings, and other procedures on a space available basis. On the first business day of the month the procedure appointments are booked for that month. Call on the first business day of the month to make an appointment at Civ. 07031-15-2681 or DSN 431-2681. PSC-ing to CONUS (Continental United States) requires a current rabies vaccination and health certificate within 10 days of travel. The rabies vaccination must be given more than 30 days from when you enter the United States , and the vaccination must not have expired (1 or 3 years depending on the vaccine). To obtain a health certificate your pet must be examined by the veterinarian. To make an appointment call: call Civ. 07031-15-2681 or DSN 431-2681. The German government restricts certain types of dogs from being brought into the country. Breeds that are not allowed into the country (no exceptions) include, but not limited to: American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull-terrier, Pit-bull terrier and Staffordshire Bull-terrier. Other breeds, such as Rottweiler, may be restricted depending on the specific German state. |
